Зурли трештат на сред село
Zurli treštat na sred selo · Zurnas are blasting in the middle of the village
About this song
A dance song with a grandfather as the hero. Zurnas blast in the middle of the village, the drum beats, and young girls and bachelors wind two ora. An old white-bearded grandfather comes down, moustache twisted up, and heads straight for the oro to join. Grandma Neda catches his hand and asks where he is off to, to criticise the dancing. The point is that he joins.
